The Pentrace Limited Edition fountain pen was created following the many expressions of interest in such a project, posted during the year on the Message Board.

The Pentrace Limited Edition fountain pen is designed from one end to the other as a vintage-inspired writer’s pen. This is a “Maxima” model featuring the superb quality and handling characteristics that you have come to expect from Filcao. This pen is a design collaboration between Giovanni Abrate and Richard Binder, designer of the popular Filcao Columbia and Nobile fountain pens.

The Pentrace LE features a modern button filler. With its clean uncluttered lines, this is a pen you will be proud to use. The vintage-style black section eschews ornamentation; with no gaudy trim ring next to the nib, there is nothing to corrode, break, or fall off. The rich green resin swirl color proclaims your affiliation with Pentrace, the premier pen community on the World Wide Web. The sterling silver cap band is discreetly engraved PENTRACE.COM and LE 2004 on other side.

The Pentrace LE is almost exactly the same size as a Pelikan M800, at 5 9/16" (14.1 cm) capped. It features a smooth Medium Schmidt steel nib. Fine and Broad nibs are included free as an extra bonus. Nibs screw in and out, and it is very simple to change nibs at any time.

The cap band and barrel ring trim are sterling silver and rhodium plated. Each pen is furnished in a hard shell velvet lined gift box with Limited Edition imprint.

Manufactured in Italy by Filcao, this pen carries a full warranty and can be serviced by any Filcao retailer.
